2017 Literacy Throwdown! – The July Review: A Slow Month, Relatively

It was an incredibly busy month for our family. Which meant that Rachel didn’t get to read at her normal blistering pace. It also meant that I was unable to take advantage of her slowdown. She only read three books, but she extended her lead! I have brought shame upon myself.

The Apostle Chosen for Greatness
The Four Loves Surprised by Motherhood
An Invisible Thread

This was probably my big chance to take advantage of a slowdown by Rachel, unless something really unusual happens to her schedule, like she gets drafted into the army.

Barring that, I’m going to have to make some strong moves in the next couple of months to stay within striking distance. Prepare yourself for some in-depth reviews of the Dr. Seuss oeuvre.
