No, seriously, I realize I may be one of the last people in the world who hadn’t read this or seen any movie or TV adaptation of it. But just in case you’re also one of those people, let me say that there’s a reason that this is one of those books that’s a household name.

It’s a fast, gripping read that feels pretty epic for a book that’s set almost entirely on three adjacent cars of a train that’s stuck in the snow. I won’t go into more detail, because the fun is in meeting the characters yourself and working through the mystery, but it lives up to the hype.
