The eye black “advertisement” was unnecessary for the game. I wonder if some Christians would be offended by a secular humanist message like “There Is” and “No God” on two eye black patches?
America’s freedom to practice religion (privately) is a right but Christian Supremacy or Dominionists have been known to exploit a situation for self-rightous reasons. Fanaticism and extremeism are dangerous anywhere and must be discouraged. Simply put, it was unnecessary for the football game.
