Heck, I’d like to have it playing on a loop in my house. Justin Taylor used it on his blog to make the point that it’s easy to criticize if you don’t have to come up with something better yourself.
Of course, the Internet is like a giant sluice of rash criticism, largely from people who aren’t interested in putting much thought into it beyond “Ur idea is teh sux!” If Phil Donahue were alive today, he’d be making the same idiot comments on Daily Kos or the Huffington Post with no Milton Friedmans to slap him down (and no, I’m not going to let the fact that Donahue’s not dead ruin that great observation). Demand more from yourself when you give criticism and from the people who give it to you.
